Description: The Hamilton County Park District created the Adventure Outpost to provide both adults and youths customized group programs through outdoor education. Programs facilitated at the Adventure Outpost are designed to be participant driven operating on a “Challenge by Choice” model and are comprised of activities consisting of team-building, outdoor recreation, and natural education components facilitated by trained and certified staff.

UNIVERSITY OF THE GREAT OUTDOORS

The University of the Great Outdoors (UGO) is an initiative by the Hamilton County Park District Naturalist Department to encourage health and nature appreciation in the Great Outdoors. Throughout the year, UGO programs will be offered at through staff at Adventure Outpost to various parks with an emphasis on outdoor exercise and nutrition. The programs are designed to be fun and educational! Experience recreation in nature!
