Clean Ohio River Committee

The Clean Ohio River Committee facilitates and promotes River Sweep events throughout our corridor. Led by ORSANCO, River Sweep events are litter clean-ups along waterway shorelines.

Trails Committee

The Trails Committee champions the development, connectivity, and promotion of trails within the Ohio River Way by:

  • Mapping existing trails and ensuring safe cycling connections between ORW locales.

  • Establishing a collaborative network of trail enthusiasts, clubs, and businesses.

  • Assisting ORW communities in diverse trail creation, and optimizing methods to disseminate trail info.

Chair: Joe Stelzer

History & Heritage Committee

The History & Heritage Committee supports the research and delivery of historical resources. It maintains relationships with national and regional groups interested in Ohio River history and heritage, especially ORVILLE (the Ohio River Valley Innovation Library and Learning Engagement project). All are welcome - members do not need to be professional practitioners to join.
